On February 9, 2021, David Mineta, our President & CEO, will receive the NAMI-Santa Clara County 2020 Community Merit Award in recognition of his tireless work and advocacy on behalf of people living with mental health challenges and their families and friends.
Each year, NAMI- Santa Clara County awards a community member or organization that has made significant contributions towards improving the quality of life of persons and families living with mental health challenges. “[David’s] dedicated work as President & CEO at Momentum for Health has been inspiring to witness. We really appreciate [his] collaboration with the community and understanding the needs of clients and their families. We need leaders like [him] in our community to bring a change in the mental health field and it is an honor to know [him] and witness the difference [he has] made,” NAMI shared in a letter acknowledging his award.
“I accept this award on behalf of all of the staff at Momentum,” said David. “Every day they are working hard to maintain services for the community members who need it the most.”
