Momentum accepts volunteers at our locations throughout Santa Clara County. Please speak with our staff to learn more about specific openings.
We will work with you to create a schedule that makes sense for your availability and ours (we do ask that you commit to working with us for at least 90 days, unless you are volunteering for a one-day project or event).

What Volunteers Are Saying
“At both volunteer events [I participated in], two different people told me they were glad I showed up. At the fundraising event, I was appreciated for stepping in wherever needed. Those moments meant a lot to me.”
“Clinicians, case managers, and the peer navigator made me feel like part of the team from day one. They valued my contributions and created a supportive environment focused on improving clients’ lives.”
“Everyone was engaging, helpful, and supportive, and the people were the reason I wanted to stay with Momentum in a more permanent capacity.”
“As a Psychology and Public Health double major, I wanted hands‑on experience working with patients in a clinical setting. Santa Clara University’s Public Health department recommended Momentum as a great place to start volunteering.”
“Volunteering at Momentum has helped me strengthen my organizational and administrative skills, especially while supporting the HR department with various tasks. This role has also helped build my confidence and professionalism.”
“What drew me to Momentum was its mission and focus on behavioral health services. Since this is the field I hope to build a career in, I felt it was the perfect place to learn, observe, and give back while being part of something meaningful.”
“I hope to keep the connections I made while volunteering at Momentum for as long as I can.”
