Voices of Recovery: Sara’s Story of Recovery and Parisi House on the Hill

To honor National Recovery Month this September, we’re highlighting the voices and experiences that remind us what recovery can look like and what is possible to achieve.

In this edition of our Voices of Recovery series, Sara Morales, Program Director at Parisi House on the Hill, shares her recovery journey, the barriers that once kept her from seeking help, and how those experiences shape how she supports others today.

She also shares what continues to give her hope — a reminder that recovery can and does happen, and that every journey is different.
