Adult Residential Treatment

ABOUT

Voluntary, home-like care provides the stability needed to recover.

Momentum for Health’s Adult Residential Treatment (ART) programs offer a home-like, welcoming environment for clients managing behavioral health conditions who also need temporary housing. Our goal is to provide stability to prepare clients to return to everyday life. We offer opportunities for individual and group counseling and occupational therapy to build important life skills such as conflict resolution and safety management, and to build relationships and support others in our community.

In Their Own Words

Tera’s Journey to Recovery

For Tera, the road to recovery has been a non-linear journey. From a young age, Tera struggled with suicidal ideation and self-harm. Eventually, her struggles led her to a point of deep despair. After surviving a suicide attempt and spending years in a state hospital, Tera arrived at Momentum’s Crossroads II residential program.

Val’s Story: From Here to Healing

Val grew up in an ultra-conservative, ultra-religious family in Kenya where there was no such thing as mental health treatment. After moving to the United States, Val hit a breaking point. Today, Val is living in Momentum supportive housing and plans to live independently soon.
