Employment Builds Stability and Purpose
Momentum for Health’s Employment Services program partners with individuals to navigate the path to finding, securing, and keeping a job. Our team provides practical job training, resources, and employment services for clients who are ready to work. Momentum for Health clients have landed positions throughout the community—including retail and grocery work, administration, security, personal training, and software engineering.

Employment Services
We are proud to help clients find stable jobs that benefit both them and their employers. Whether you’re a skilled professional returning to work after an extended leave or you’re looking for your first job, our team can support you by:
- Developing job search skills
- Supporting with resume writing
- Practicing interview skills
- Connecting you with potential employers
- Finding clothing or other resources for interviews and/or a job
- Assisting you with accommodation requests at work
- Helping you develop the skills needed to keep your job
Service Details
Who is Eligible?
Employment Services are available to individuals who meet the following criteria:
- You are a current client of Momentum for Health and have been referred by your Momentum case manager.
- You live in Santa Clara County.
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You are willing to work.
What to Expect
Your experience with Employment Services might look like:
- You will complete an intake and orientation process to learn more about the program.
- You will be matched with a Momentum staff person who will meet with you for the entire duration of services. Meetings will include goal-setting and building your job search skills.
- Throughout the interview process, your point person will help you identify opportunities and provide support. This may include communicating with employers, attending interviews, and helping you navigate training. Please note that we are not a staffing agency and therefore do not place clients into jobs. Staff members and clients collaborate throughout the job-finding process, informed by the client's unique goals and aspirations.
- Once you are hired, we are committed to helping you keep your job with continued accommodations, skills-building, and other support.
