The Drop-in Center offers a weekly schedule of rotating activities, including yoga and fitness classes, gardening, movie nights, special outings to community locations, and more. Group classes cover topics, such as self-esteem, anger management, and peer support.

You can also enjoy free time with peers to play games, or simply hang out and talk — all helping build new friendships and socialization skills.

The Drop-in Center is open Monday through Friday from 2:30–4:00 p.m.

Day in the Life

The wide variety of activities and classes mean each day at the Drop-In Center is different. For scheduled weekly activities, you might participate in a group art session, where you’ll express yourself through a variety of creative mediums. Or, you’ll be led through a calming, meditative yoga session to manage stress.

You’ll also have access to many community-focused activities and events. From working in the community garden to walks in the park and hiking, there are multiple opportunities to engage with the community. These activities are fun, but also teach daily living skills, such as how to navigate the Santa Clara County VTA transportation system.

Occasionally, there will also be special activities, such as a trip to the beach in Santa Cruz and other local attractions. For these events, you’ll need to sign up ahead of time as there is limited space. If you’re under 16, you’ll also need parental consent to join.
